Advocates with Compassion during Tragedy
YOU Can Make a Difference!
Could you help a person whose life has been
forever changed due to a personal tragedy?
Learn how the effects of trauma can be lessened
by the presence of a trained volunteer shortly after
the event. Training begins Friday, April 12, 2024.
ACT Volunteers provide emotional, practical,
and resource assistance to clients
in the first few hours following a personal tragedy.
They respond when requested by Police, Fire or
Hospital ER personnel.
Volunteer commitment is three 12-hour shifts
of your choosing per month.
